Find Everyday Joy on Your Journey to Good Health

Being healthy is not just eating healthy and working out. There is another ingredient and it’s called Mindset.

To have lasting success on your health journey you must find everyday joy in your health practice too.

How do you feel about your health journey? Do you enjoy working out? Do you beat yourself up for eating the wrong things and not sticking to your routines?

You can find joy in everyday health practices.  How do you do that?  With a mindset shift.

If you can’t break old habits and you feel intimidated, then look at the big Why? Why do you want to look and feel healthy? What will you get out of it?

Is it to increase self-confidence, look and feel better in your clothes, feel more energetic, making yourself a priority/taking care of yourself, being healthy to enjoy your grandchildren?

Decide what excites you enough to want to make a change.   Write it down in a journal and keep it close throughout your journey.

Here are 3 tips on how to find joy in journey to good health.

Healing food.  You can find joy in healing foods.  Be creative with your meals. Eat the rainbow.  Thank your body for putting power into your body with nourishing foods.

Healing Movement. Find movement that feels good to you.  Walking, dancing, swimming, hiking, running, yoga (do it in nature). Let it feel joyful.

Healing Mindset.  Your body goes where your mind takes it.  Use meditation to change your mindset.  Turn your walk into meditation.  Use loving words when you talk to yourself.  There is so much joy in caring for your inner self as much as your outer self.
