I recently worked with Julie to find out some more information about my health, and I found the process both very interesting and very useful. Julie worked with me to compile a comprehensive picture of my current state of well being, taking into account my medical history, significant life events, and diet and lifestyle to build a holistic assessment of where I am now. This was the first time I had ever looked at my health in such a comprehensive way, and it was enlightening to see how different threads – sometimes seemingly irrelevant to my health – could have an impact on my mind and body. Throughout all of this, Julie was there to help and advise me and gently push me in the right direction. Julie has a very gentle and caring nature, which makes her easy to talk to, plus she is full of advice and tips, as she has made many of these changes personally so speaks from experience. I can thoroughly recommend working with Julie, particularly to any women experiencing big changes in their life, whether situational or hormonal. Julie has made a massive difference to the way I think and feel, and I feel much more prepared to navigate the next few years of perimenopause and menopause.

I completed a health coaching course with Julie and it was transformational, it came at a time when I was discovering a great deal about my own health and well being. This gave me support during a period of personal growth that was invaluable. The course also gave me knowledge and ideas that were for the betterment of my overall health and pushed me to evaluate and ask questions of myself that I would never have done alone, or taken the time to talk through and use to form new habits. Julie was amazing throughout, providing a safe space to talk openly and voice thoughts out loud, many of which were for the first time. I would recommend this course and coaching with Julie to anyone who wants to get to know themselves and their health and make the steps to changing for the better.

Julie assisted me to make some changes to my diet and gradually reintroducing food groups back in to test my reaction to them. This was another enlightening exercise, and it helped me make some significant changes to the food and drink I was consuming. I have now vastly improved my diet; I have eliminated altogether caffeine from my diet, I have almost entirely eliminated refined sugar and ultra processed foods, and I have severely moderated my consumption of gluten and dairy foods. Instead, my already vegetarian diet now includes a much healthier mix of fruit, vegetables, seeds and pulses, plus phytoestrogens, ‘good’ fats, and fermented and probiotic foods to improve my gut health. I feel significantly better for making these changes.
