Julie assisted me to make some changes to my diet and gradually reintroducing food groups back in to test my reaction to them. This was another enlightening exercise, and it helped me make some significant changes to the food and drink I was consuming. I have now vastly improved my diet; I have eliminated altogether caffeine from my diet, I have almost entirely eliminated refined sugar and ultra processed foods, and I have severely moderated my consumption of gluten and dairy foods. Instead, my already vegetarian diet now includes a much healthier mix of fruit, vegetables, seeds and pulses, plus phytoestrogens, ‘good’ fats, and fermented and probiotic foods to improve my gut health. I feel significantly better for making these changes.
